This pattern includes both charted and written instructions. This fun knit goes pretty fast, but it will keep you on your toes. Construction: The hot pad body (front and back) is knit first. After folding it in half, stitches are picked up along each edge, “seaming” each side together. An I-cord bind off and hanging loop lends the finishing touch. Techniques used: Knit, purl, provisional CO, cabling, picking up sts, working in the round, and I-cord BO. Size: Approximately 5.5” x 6.5” Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted Superwash: 75 yds (For best results, use a yarn with good stitch definition.) |
